I would only buy a Valentine V1, Escort 7500, or Escort 8500. I wouldn't use anything else...its not worth having one that doesn't work. And even the good ones won't always save you.

yeah but i think this one will be above average.. honestly i dont think anything compares to the x50, however.. i believe this radar retail over 200$ so it should be decent, and if it doesnt work; well it at least gives me some mental comfort while driving under the influence.

I can vouch for that! I was riding with a buddy down the interstate in is 04 V6, and he has the V1. Well it did awesome the whole trip, always gave ample warning, till all of a sudden the Laser detector pegged out for like a second and was gone. Next thing we knew we crest the hill and see 3 cops with people pulled over and a Trooper entering the highway comeing after us. Moral of the story, had we had a cb along with the v1, we would have been able to know about the speed trap in advance.

Exactly.

You can not blindly drive with any of them and expect to be safe.

You have to be aware of whats around and also sneaking up behind you.
