How would I go about underglow...

I just bought a set of LED underglow from someone for $50 and it didn't come with instructions or anything. How would I go about mounting/installing these?

sell them they are nothing but problems. but if you really want these your gonna need just a tiny bit of electronic skills to put them all together, its not a hard task. this is how mine were done. connect a ground to each light when youy place it under your car. then run a constant to a switch, then to the module that comes with the kit, then run one power wire to each light from the module. then just bolt up all the lights and you are ready for tickets and breaking them on bumps.

Yea, underglow is rice and it sucks. They just break and keep you from spending money elsewhere.

lol I think they are rice but thats my opinion... If you want to install it its pretty darn easy, You first decide where to mount it, find somewhere that it wont get broke and what not. Once mounted you need a power and a ground to it, and on the power wire before it gets to the light you need a switch to turn the light on and off. Just find a power source that is hot only when the car key is on (or all the time if you want it on all the time you simply run a risk of forgetting it and running the battery down)

run a wire from this source such as directly from the battery, to a switch (you can buy a switch cheap) then from the switch to the light, then run the lights ground wire to the negative terminal on the battery.

^ so do i. I never use them anymore, but they are there. It's simple to install, took me about an hour, but I had a wal-mart drill too, lol.

if you do that it defeats the entire point of this thread let alone this forum... an easy cheap thing like LEDs.
if you have to pay someone to install underglow
?how excately do you modify your car at all? the cost of install for just basic bolt ons to be installed professionally would be overwhelming.?
