Need some info from you guys!!!!

My armrest hinge panel underneath the armrest cracked the other day and I need some info.

1. Do 94-97 armrest lids have a magnet or a hook and latch to hold them down.
2. On 99-04 what is the name of the light grey color used in the interior. 94-97 is a darker grey.

Medium graphite, medium parchment and midnight black are the new interior colors.

Those are the colors for the 1999 interior.

:dunno: I've been lookin for about 15 min for pictures of the colors, but I can't find any. Mine's pretty dark, I believe it's the medium graphite.

If you mean the large center console, then yeah, it's a latch. and if I remember right, my 97 was the same way. If you mean that small ashtray sorta thing between the console and the shifter, I don't have one of those in my 99, but it seems like my 97 was some sorta push down latch.

OK so the 97 has a magnet on the armrest lid and 98-2000 have the same console so they are latches.

I ripped mine off on accident. Now I just hold my bottle/can in the ebrake area between the lever and plastic. Works fine.

I have never heard of a plug difference, adn I have seen people with mix matched years.. hmmmm If there is a difference you can still fix it rather easy you would just need one extra plug of each time, one to plug into the car harness then another to run the wires from the first to the second and plug into the seat... else you can go to splicing.

Its ford.. unless they changed makers of the seats it will be the same.

and my 97 had the clip on the arm rest i belive (not 100% though) and my 01 has a magnet. Ask brent he has a 96

^ No I'm pretty sure the 97 is a magnet, and mine is a clip.

I wouldn't think the plugs would be different, but I do think that the seats in 99+ go farther back one inch. Whether that's just the track or something else, I dunno.

Reason is I have a hookup on some 04 Grey leather GT seats for $300 local I plan to keep take the factory elec in my 98 and move it to the passanger side and use the elec slide on the 04 seat on the driver seat. Reason is the stock pass seat doen not move back far as the drivers and tall people riding with me always seem uncomfortable.

You're right about the passenger seats not going that far back. I think it might be more of an issue of the floor not going as far forward too though. When I ride with Jennifer I know it's much less comfortable than driving.
