a cobra R with a 2" drop would definitely be a problem with roads ,potholes, speedbumps ect

Here is the cobra r, then i'd say you'd be about 1/4" or less lower...you might scrape the bottom of the bumper on some speed bumps :chin: idk

There is roughly a coke can of clearance on the front bumper of the cobra r kit at stock height, calculate from there and you decide.

well, does the cobra r have the same height as an 03 GT? that may affect it, im just wondering, cuz its pretty long, but i want it really bad. but if im going to scraping everywhere, i'll have to pick another. i'll prolly just risked it

get the bumper with the removable splitter, then you just throw it on during a nice cruise or something. Itd get beaten up as a DD though.

you'd be about .5" lower than the Cobra R.

You could do it, but mine as well get serious struts and spring rates to keep from scraping. But then your ride will be bouncy as hell.

I rather like my ride with new s/s and springs. And yeh, coke can standing up. And yeh, just get the removable splitter, works fine, still plenty of clearance as a dd.

if you drop your car with the cobra R front you will not be able to clear a coke can.... you WILL mess up the front end... dont do it with the cobra R front... you could get the removable splitter version and only use it at shows and what not...
