painting calipers

well i want to paint mine but i have no idea how to lay down paint.

Im just kidding i am a painting god, but i have a question anyone ever use that duplicolor brush paint? I ussually have used the spray and it comes out nice but i am much too lazy to mask up the car and then paint. if it looks good and lasts i want to use the brush to save me some time. blue calipers will go nice with the 18 inch black bullits sitting in my garage.

Oh geez what a surprise another lazy Mexican. lol...j/k I've never painted a caliper. But I have painted many other things in the past with acrylic paints and a brush. If you use a good quality brush and do many coats it should come out good..I think
U should probably test it on something else b4 doing it to ure calipers. :dunno:

At first i sprayed it on but a few months ago i used a brush on paint i got from Kragens. It was 15 bucks and i think it was worth it. Like TBird said make sure you clean the caliper really good and maybe use a soft sand paper or some caliper cleaner.
The only thing is that you have to do lot's of layers for it to look good and the drying period between layers takes longer then i expected. I'd recomend you do it at a time where you won't drive your car for a few hours because the heat build up of braking can wear it off if you drive too soon after.
