New here. Just bought a 2008GT and was looking for the paint color code. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Color Blind

Um, we may need a picture of your car to find that out. There were several colors of 2008 GT's, so we will need something to base our assessment on.

Or, look on your door tag...it should have the color code there.

Re: Color Blind

It's a dark metal flake blue. Not royal or indigo but about like the color of the upper atomsphere at 20000 ft or looking into 70ft clear waters off the coast of Mexico.

You can attach it to a post by clicking the new reply button below this message and then click the manage attachment buttons on that screen in the Additional Options section. When you click the manage attachments button, it will bring up a window where you can browse for the image you want to upload.

Re: Color Blind

Let's see, that is either sonic blue, or vista blue metallic. It looks sonic to me in the picture.

If it is sonic blue, the paint code is SN.

If it is vista blue it is G9.

Re: Color Blind

Thank you PureVenom I do appreciate. Sorry it took so long but I had to go get the camera then download. It is rather cloudy today and the Met Fl is not standing out but I will look on the Door jamb for the code? Thanks again

Re: Color Blind

hmm i dunno if thats sonic blue. sonic blue is more blue. that looks to be a bit grayer. not sure if its vista blue, but i think it might be. its kinda hard to tell from the pic (since its cloudy).

Look at the door tag, it's really easy to spot.

I am exploring my options but as my main plan is to keep the car forever I do not want to do anything that will take it from being original. Iv'e done that with a 1968 F100 3 on the tree that my Grandad bought new and I drove it home, a 1968 Z28 I bought used in 1970 and a 1968 Cady convertable I bought in 1978 with only 20k on it

Agreed, and a 68 Z28 falls under that awesomeness.

OK then. Next time I go over to Ft Worth where I keep my buggies I will take a shot. It's British racing green with the racing strip in white.
