Re: Chamios

When I detailed for a dealership I used one from car brite which is HARD to get. They are like snap on and don't have a store you might be able to get one online i'm not sure. But when i was done there I went to wal mart and got "the absorber" brand it's more rubberlike which i like I don't like the ones that just feel like cloth those are the only two i will ever use and if that car brite one is overpriced it is worth it the ones I used at that dealership had already been there for over 5 years and were still worked like new.FYI car brite is the cleaning products from Valvoline so it is definalty good stuff.

Re: Chamios

I use a "WATER SPRITE" and have had it since 1994.This thing is amazing and has never disappointed me to this day.I bought it off of my deatail supplier at that time which was "auto magic" when I worked at my grandparents dealership. It was and can still be purchased in a 4ft version but I cut mine in half (dont know where the other half is 16 yrs later) and it works great. This is not a rubber or leather feeling chamois that sticks together when wet like the walmart chamois. Its soft and cloth like and used by alot of serious detailers.

Im gonna leave a link to autogeek for everyone because this is how much I believe in this product.
Water Sprite PlusŪ Chamois 4 sq. Feet

On another note, "The absorber" is that the one thats green or orange and has all the tiny holes in it? Someone else has mentioned it to me.
