Some have to be screwed in, and some can be attached using double sided tape and some sort "hangy device thingy".

These are attached by adhesive in 4 brackets, 2 of which are hinged for easy cleaning.

NO but it also would not matter much. The 305 gets a lot of disrespect that it does not deserve. It is a capable engine. It shares the same block the 350 and the same heads. It is only the crank and piston rod length that makes it difference. It is similar as the 3.8 is to the 4.2. Basically different stroke. But when you live in the shadow of the chevy 350, 327 and 302 you are doomed to start with. I know many circle track racers that made over 400hp with a 305
