Wiring for 2 amps

will this wiring kit be okay for two amps that push out 300watts rms?

NEW AMP INSTALL KIT 2000-2500 WATT 4 GA GAUGE WIRING - eBay (item 140392779998 end time Mar-27-10 16:15:30 PDT)

It will work good for one amp. To hook up your second amp you need to get two distribution blocks so you can split your ground and power wire to each amp. You may also need one more rca pair

why do i need two distribution blocks?

could i not just split the power, then ground each one sepperately?

Yeah, that's exactly what you need to do. Idk what I was thinking before with that second distribution block

I'd run the two seperate grounds from the amps and ground them in the same location. (mines grounded under the carpet in the trunk via some paint scratching and a bolt.)

hello. i have a 2000 3.6 mustang and i took out the factory radio/stereo units. there were 4 harnesses. i bought wire harness from walmart to fit it for my aftermarket dvd player. the adapter only fit 2 of the 4 harnesses. when i hooked it up that way it didnt play any sound threw the speakers. what am i doing wrong? please help me.

You sure you wired everything up right? Also, check out your harnesses. Which plugs did you go with? the ones from wal-mart?

yeah. actually today i just went in there and pulled everything out. including the stock amp. someone before me had cut some wires int here for a sub out. so im guessing those are the wires i need to get to. so now the question is what color is what? all the diagrams online all have the same colors but dont match mine. they all say something different.

hrm, should just be color to color, at least mine was that way.
