Upgrading from Mach to Aftermarket

I was told from a few people that when you change from the Mach 460 to an aftermarket system, you have to replace a few things in order to have a successful install. I heard that when you install a new head deck you should replace the amps for the speakers as well as the original amps only work for the factory deck. Is this true?

No, you can get a harness to use the factory amps as well. Uhm...there's a write up on here somewhere about this.
