Rear Seat Removal

Does anyone have ne experience taking out the rear seats in a 05, v6. I am doing some weight reduction plus some major sound. Fiber glass box all the way from the rear seats into the trunk.. Going to be sick, Lots of subs and speakers and a special little spot right in the middle of the back seats to have a spot for a nos bottle... Gonna be sick, i hope..

That's what I was thinking

But anyways, no experience here either...my guess would be that there's a way to access the seats from behind where they flip down.

Yeah i know it sounds crazy, im just so stoked to get it started. Maybe the weight reduction and huge sound system contradicts itself but i am havin a huge system either way...Brent ill take pictures and explain it all.

Make sure you use plenty of dynomat or you'll rattle everything loose.

Well the bottom should have clips, I don't know if there are any push tabs for these clips or it pops right out. That would take out the bottom. There will probably be a few bolts that hold the back to the chassis. If you drop down the seats and pop off some trim may expose any remaining bolts holding in the backside. Otherwise after the bottom bolts are removed the whole backside may just slide up and off a metal clip.
