Planet Audio TQ202 Overheating

Just wanted to post up before anyone else tries to put this amp on a sub, it is worthless unless you do some serious aftermarket cooling on it.

You can cook an egg on this thing. It constantly cuts out because it is overheating. Everything is wired up correctly so it isn't that.

Just curious as to how you have it wired up and what it is wired to.

Re: Planet Audio TQ202 Overheating

You sure the dual voice coils on the sub are wired correctly? Just double checking that's all.

Very well could be the amp, I've usually found that Kicker Subs only go well with Kicker Amps, and vice versa.
