Directions I am taking in the upcoming months

I am still slowly migrating towards the eventual land racing mods. I have the new 2.08 ring and gear coming and will insytll is into a second rear end but now I want to talk about exterior mods.

I am looking at a Cobra front bumper or Roush Valances. I like my hood but I do like the Saleen extractor hood. It is subtle but nice looking. I am not sure if I want different wheels. The last wheels I posted were shot down like a rock!!!

I dont often ask for opinions but I am now

Re: Directions I am taking in the upcoming months

the only issue I see with the roush front valence is how well they will stay attached at high speeds. I think the cobra front is less busy and more flowing with the car, the only down side is many use it (but that does not make it look worse)

Re: Directions I am taking in the upcoming months

The Cobra Font Bumper is something that a friend has for sale. The fact of it being used by many is not that important to me. I am not doing this to be different. My current front bumper needs painting do to the thousands of bug marks and this Cobra bumper is a laser red and very few blemishes. For land racing I will still have to make plugs even for the Cobra Bumper. The hood is more of a afterthought. I really like the stock one. I have seen 2 pictures of Roush's at the flats with the valances. The thing is preventing air underneath the car.

Roush wheels look really nice on sn95 mustangs although they are pretty expensive. I also like the wheels that Saleen used on the SN95's more than the ones they put on the New Edge Mustangs. For that matter I think that Saleen SN95's look altogether better than the Saleen New Edges, even though I still like how the Saleen New Edges look.

Yes those look good on SN95's, better chrome though. Even though those are the rims that Roush put on the SN95's, they are the ones that came on my car. I believe that they also came on some of the 2000, but I'm not sure.

Where did you find those. When I bought my car it was missing the center caps on my front wheels, and the dealership I bought it from got me some new caps for it, but the one that got me are made for different Roush rims.

I think after looking at all the rims I am going to stay with the 98 Cobra's.

Re: Directions I am taking in the upcoming months

for the 94-98 style rims are hard to pick. The 98 cobras look great but the little groove around the rim lip messes them up in my opinion. Ford has some of the best looking cheapest wheels that you will find in 17 inch... its hard to get really creative with only 17 inches.
