Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

I installed my lowering springs. I must say they were a great success. At first I could only tell that the front was lowered. My friend Anthony took these pics right after installation. Now a few days later the drop is more evident. The girl in the picture is my friends girlfriend by the way.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

what springs did you use? using the right sized tires also help with the look.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

I used the IMP Double D Series springs from AmericanMuscle.com(used to be mustangtuning.com) and they only cost $120. I am satisfied. The ride quality isn't bad and it gave my car the lowered look that I desired.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

go measure from the ground to the top of the fender (right under the lip) it should be less than 28.5 for a drop.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

Umm it wasn't drastic. The front was lowered about an inch and a half and the back about an inch and a quarter.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

thats whats hard about lowering mustangs. To make them look good you have to lower them so much its a pita to just drive normally.

Not really...

My cars not a PITA to drive and its really low. Lowering is entirely dependent on what you've got going on in the area of headers/mid-pipe. If you have catless midpipe, lower that sum***** as much as you can. If you have longtubes, watch out.

Re: Pics(Lowering Springs Installed)

Nice Nice. But one thing for the love of god remove the door guard mang

Driving lowered cars does suck esp in my area where theres damn potholes and crazy angled driveways/plazas

but **** it def worth it for sure
