Neons

I was planning on getting some neons in the interior of my car similar to the ones SixShootaPB has in the multimedia section. i dont want corny ones that flash to the beat of the music or anything like that.. i just want ones that serve as extra lighting if needed. if anyone has any names of products.. places i can buy them.. tips on wiring them.. locations (i was thinkin by the feet of both front seats like SixShootaPB)... anything.. any info at all.. please share because i dont know anything about it and niether does my dad haha. thanks.

AutoZone or places like that have them.

You can just plug them into the cig lighter or you can do this:

You can wire them to the switches there

i did what brent did. the switch panel is the best idea. some people wired it so when you turn on your interior lights, neons come on, or just when they turn on their head lights. The switch panel is deff. very cool though. As far as where to get em, just try autozone or advance auto parts. wiring was pretty easy...it was my first wiring job and i did it. i hooked the positive up through my cd player wiring, works fine, and you dont have to run a wire from the battery and buy a little fuse. Location wise... under the dash (driver and passenger), behind the driver and passenger seats on the bottom. If you do all this... make sure the neon tubes ARN'T visable, and the wires are also not visable. Otherwise it can just look really bad, or "ricey." Good luck man.

To be honest, i bought mine from Wal Mart back when they actually carried halfway decent lights. Mine are under my dashboard. I'll have to take a pic at night to let you see what it looks like. As far as controlling them i bought a nice little wally world controler that sits inbetween my seat and center console. But do hide the actual lights and the wires. Under my dash the light comes out on both sides of the steering wheel and around the glove box. I'll post some pics when i steal another dig cam for a weekend. 8)

great.. thanks a lot for the info. someone also recommended me putting a neon liscense plate under both seats so it would light up all around the seats. i might do that but i am for sure going to put it under the dash on both passenger and driver side. i am also going to do the swtich board idea also.. thanks for the info again.. if you have any more feel free to post it.
