Tinting Taillights

I was thinking of making my smoked taillights darker as they arent "smoked" enough for me

was wondering if I should just go ahead and use spray tint or actually tint the insides of the taillight

Thoughts, suggestions?

Re: Tinting Taillights

Do not use spray tint i repeat do not use spray tint. I had my own window tinting business for years and it is crap use film and cut it yourself or like Herb said get the autobadges kit

Re: Tinting Taillights

The stuff from autobadges and other ppl for taillights is actually a translucent black piece of thick vinyl. It actually took effort to get it to stay on the curve of the taillights b/c it was so thick.

Yea you can use a hairdryer or a heatgun to help it shrink to the curve of the lense on low heat and it will help it dry faster and stick a little better
