i recommend Stage 3 Motorsports Stage3Motorsports.com - Free Shipping & Great Customer Service on Every Order!

the kit you are looking at is alright, its a bit much for my taste, but its your car and u should get what is going to make you happy

personally, i think that front end would look better if you kept the stock back bumper and do a roush rear valence, i think it would look a lot cleaner that way and less bulky but thats just my opinion

Re: body kit advice

I recommend that you don't buy anything that says 'Black Widow' because it will be a replica. I believe Ground Design's has gone out of business.

If you do buy any kit from eBay, they will most likely be fiberglass. This is what will happen with fiberglass once it gets hit slightly.

Plus, you'll probably already paid double the price of the body kit to make it fit correctly. You want urethane parts. Same as the factory front and rear fascias.

Re: body kit advice

go with pieces that you like the best. As long as you don't misbadge it or tell people it's a roush/saleen/cobra etc, there's nothing wrong imo with liking their styling and using it on your car. Just don't try to say it is one.

Re: body kit advice

It would be better to look like a roush or a saleen rather than either of those horrid body kit pieces you posted in your first post.

For the 94-98 crowed you don't have a ton of different options available to you. I think the Cobra front bumper is one of the cleaning and best looking. That is about all you need to set the car off with a good paint job, drop, and rims.

Re: body kit advice

there's not a lot that i know of in the way of rear bumpers other than saleen/roush/cobra. A lot of the others look very ricey and bad. I personally don't think the rear bumper needs changing in most cases. I do like the saleen though.

Re: body kit advice

I parked next to a 95 gt with the full cervinis body kit (the first version) It was good in quality. I just dont care for the rear bumper and such, its a bit to bold for me.

Re: body kit advice

I dont like the roush rear, looks out of place. The roush front or a cobra front with the little lip they make for them (cant remember who does) with the rest stock or perhaps saleen sides is about as far as I would go.

Re: body kit advice

the problem with the cobra front bumper is that you are going to have a heck of a time with a lot of parking lot entrances, speed bumps, driveways. I'd look into a chin spoiler for the front and some nice side skirts. the stock rear bumper looks better then just about any of the aftermarket ones for your car.

This is all my opinion though. It's your car.

Re: body kit advice

Chin spoilers dont come close to fitting the 94-98 style.

Re: body kit advice

****, as soon as I saw this thread I was just going to reply, "Don't"

I say stalker kit as well if you HAD to go with a kit. I just say lower the car and put some wider wheels and tires on it. :dunno:

Re: body kit advice

I'm a big fan of the cobra R front as well. If you do the front the stock side skirts will only be a little higher then the front bumper. I plan on doing the cobra R front, side exhaust with the side skirts (like the roush stangs) and I'm going to be leaving the rear pretty much alone and blacking out the bottom part of the rear bumper. I might do some work to the rear but that will all be fabricated. The xenon side skirts are similiar to the ones that I have on my pic on the left when I photoshopped my stang. Trying to find something with the limited options that they have for our cars is a pain but a lot can be done even with simple things. Best of luck to ya!
