New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

So I'm seriously considering the RAVE seats from Procar (sister company of SCAT) because they are the only aftermarket seats that look comfortable, are in parchment, affordable, and for future use have the sport-inspired look and weight (only 30lbs). Corbeau seats are about $400 each, however to get them ordered in either parchment, spice, or tan (Jeep colors) it would cost an additional $400 each which is ridiculous and out of my price range for seats. Anyway Just trying to see what you guys think.
Thanks.

Here is the link to the site and the picture of the RAVE in Beige Vinyl.

i would just make sure they are comfortable over periods of time if you have to drive somewhere far away

Re: New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

Of course, however I don't think black seats would go to well with brown carpet and parchment interior. Oh and these are not comfortable especially with 130K miles:

PS: The first (upper left thumbnail) seat is entirely ripped down the left side now.

Re: New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

you can find a set of 03/04 cobras seats or 03/04 mach 1 seats that are nice and require very little updates to work~ (adapter plug in might differ a bit~) those fit really good and are comfortable.

Re: New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

Yea those are beautiful seats as I've been researching this topic for some time. The problem is they will be used, not correct color (although I'm well aware that cobra seats have two-tone parchment/brown that is gorgeous), and lastly expensive. Most want atleast $800-$1200. I'd rather have comfortable & new seats that match my interior and know what it is exactly I'm getting when I purchase $700-$800. I found and still have the option to get some leather parchment GT seats that are in great shape (95% perfect) and are selling for $400 at a local shop. I am very much considering these seats. I know they have a little more support than my seats (V6 Premium), however I've seen the quality of the ford leather & I'm not impressed. I would love the corbeau CRI/GTS-II however they just don't come in the color I want. The Corbeau MOAB seats, however are appealing to me in neoprene, would require brackets, but look decently comfortable and are slightly less expensive. I think I would worry a little with these seats because of their specificity for Jeeps.

Re: New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

GT and V6 seats have so little support its awful, you can buy katskin covers for your seats though if you wanted but I would MUCH rather pick up some different ones as you are looking to do.

Re: New seats from PROCAR--RAVE

Yah I'd say go with pre 99 GT/cobra seats before a set of 99-04 v6/GT seats if you're thinking OEM styled equipment and cheap. The only thing I like about the 99-04 seats is the running pony logo stitched in.

I like those Rave seats...I say get those.
