let me tell yall whats on my mind. lol

sup people, my name is brandon. mannn im just thinking how my 2005 v6 mustang needs some serious performance. i would like a supercharger but heck. i could buy a whole new motor for that price. i got jba headers and true dual pipes with gutted cats. i think i want to get a intake and tuner and dress up the engine. i wish my car was a v8. it sounds pretty decent but i be seeing these bad *** cars around town. i dont street race much but i love the rush tho. i see these import....tuners...lets put it this way. half *** worked on hondas that keep reving their engines and mess like that. i would try to be a badass with my little 6cylinder but i dont want to end up looking dumb and bite the dust. anyone else have these "cool guys" doing stuff like this to them? man im not a mechanic or anything but what else could i get beisde a supercharger or a new engine to be packing some hp. money is kinda low when it comes to major performance. and again im goin to get a tuner, intake, throttle body, ect. does the size of the pipes making any noise difference. i want to hit the throttle and scare these little punks away with somewhat a close sound to a v8. hit me up everyone. what yall think ?

Hi Brandon Welcome to the dysfunctional family!
You've come to the right place.

The best thing for a V6 mod, in my opinion (even though I don't have them yet!), are GEARS! 4:10s or 3.73s.

My exhaust setup is an H-pipe with super 40's, no cats. I get asked all of the time if it's a GT. Maybe a Prochamber? I was thinking of looking at Prochamber for mine as well.

Good luck!

you have a couple choices, keep in mind modifications DO NOT ADD VALUE TO YOUR VEHICLE ON RESALE if you choose to do down that dark path then every dollar you spend is lost other than what you can get if you pull the mods off and sell them . Just FYI.

So you can mod it or you can save up and buy a GT if thats what you want, keep in mind you will be in the same boat with a GT. The 300hp sounds great but it gets old quick and you want more and more and more its how the mod bug works lol.

look into getting NOS its really getting very affordable now adays. I have a 75 shot on my mazda/ranger 4.0L 4x4 and can bark the tires from 3rd to 4th with 3.27 gears witch is a super improvement. 1st through 2nd it will fry the tires.

Man I appreciate all of halls reply. Yea I have no idea what gears are but they go in the rear something. Lol that's for the car to grip the road when taking off right? Ima get a supercharger just going to take time. I got gutted cats. Could it sound better if I just go ahead and take them off? Everyone's opinion is alot of help. Seriously I thank everyone who replys back. Oh I was thinking getting another pain job but lol that's just my mind wondering.
