I'm gonna buy smoked headlights for my 03 mustang..the American muscle website said I need to seal my bulbs due to moisture..has anyone really done this? Should I? Is it generally good to due?

Re: smoked headlights

my experience wit aftermarket heads and tails is this. seal all the edges with silicone, i dont care how professional the shyte looks. i have not seen a pair of aftermarket not leak. you will have moisture in the housing the first time it rains. just a light coat of clear silicone on the seams will save you lotsa grief in the long run.

just my opinion

Re: smoked headlights

no, not around the bulb, around the housing, if you look there will be a seem between the lense and the back housing, thats what you want to seal up
