HIDs?

So, I just ordered an HID kit for my 2004 stang. Anybody have HIDs in the stock reflector housings? Could anybody tell me how bad the glare is?

Should I have gone with 5000ks? I wanted a pure white light without even a hint of blue.

Mine melted when I went with brighter than the stockers. When you find the happy medium please let me know so I can order a pair. I thought brighter was better. Live and learn

Yeah, I'm expecting it, I was just wondering if it was as bad as some other cars.

Try ddmtuning.com. They have some quality kits for cheap. And you shouldn't really need a slim kit, the regular are fine

At the site mentioned above your post (www.ddmtuning.com), they are like $100 for a set of single beam lights with a lifetime warranty I believe. Dual beam (bi-xenon) are a bit more...but with HID's, do you really need high beams?

Yeah, I have about 5 or 6 friends that have these kits with 6000ks, and they're like $67 with dual beams w/shipping. And get dual beams. If you try to flash someone like you do with brights they'll turn off if you only have single beams.
