Re: Mustang Box

I actually used velcro and 3M tape -- I was only able to use it for a month before the car was wrecked and everything was stolen, but I drove HARD and the speakers never moved, but the velcro allowed me to pull the speakers out when I needed the trunk space -- the tape never ripped up and the subs never moved, however the sub boxes were fit to the trunk..

Re: Mustang Box

I use velcro on mine as well.

Spend the extra money and buy the commercial grade, the subs won't move, promise.

Re: Mustang Box

Put one side on the box, the other on the carpet to match.

It'll stay.

Re: Mustang Box

1) go to home depot
2) go to the fencing hardware aisle
3) buy some 16ga Galvanized L brackets (they usually come pre-drilled with 4 holes in them)
4) go to fastener aisle, buy 1/2" long self-tapping screws, and 1" long wood screws
5) measure and mount L-brackets into floor of trunk
6) slide sub box between brackets
7) attach box to brackets via wood screws
8) box is not going ANYWHERE, and unless someone brings a power drill with them, that box is likely to still be there if you ever get ripped off.
