To each their own, but I could never have one. Yellow, orange, red, just to bright for my liking. Even my teal car is on the line of being too bright. I like black cars, both of my other Mustangs were black!

Yeah, I love white ones too... A nice white stang with black rims, tinted tails, tinted heads and a blackout panel in back is my dream... And deep tinted windows.

I don't like stripes but white cars are the only ones that can pull it of with them

The way I look at it it doesn't matter what color it is. If you own and mustang it is respected and deserves the praise you are cruising in style. Keep your head high and enjoy a true muscle car.

That's so funny , people used to ask me that all the time ... my 88 was so freakin' loud it would set off car alarms , it was Chrome yellow ,yellow Roll bar etc .... you could see it a mile away and I never got pulled over ????
I had the Mach 1for 2 months and was pulled over at least 3 times ? WTF ?

Re: Yellow stangs!

yellow is ok but i would need another color to break up all the brightness
maybe yellow with black racing stripes
and everything else blacked out
that would be pretty awesome

Re: Yellow stangs!

It really depends for me. I couldn't own yellow and I absolutely hate it on most cars except the GTO for some reason. My friend had a nice New Edge Screaming Yellow Mach 1 that was absolutely beautiful.

Re: Yellow stangs!

Well, of course there is mine... I always had black cars in my family, and my truck was black. I never liked bright colors either, but really dig this car's appearance. So do the cops, however..

Re: Yellow stangs!

Camo I am with you I think all yellow is bright and needs to be offset. I would do the blackout package. Taillights, headlights, black fuel door, lettering, or even carbon fiber. now brushed aluminum might look great. I like the offsets though brings new flare to your ride.

Like what I did to mine.

Re: Yellow stangs!

I like yellow mustangs, my first was a 79 lx yellow with the black stripe on the hood and the pretty chrome pony emblem in the center of the hood. Black and wood grain interior that was mint, man I loved that car. Wish I had never sold it. At least the guy that has it now is taking care of it, but he repainted it red with the black stripe.
