Question 40th Anniversary badges, remove?

Thinking about debadging my car but it is an 04 and has the 40th anniversary badges on it...Anyone think I should leave them just on principle?

You can always put em back later. I'm not a fan of the 40th emblems. Is it a gt is it a v6, can't really tell till you see the twice pipes and sometimes you cant go by that.

Re: 40th Anniversary badges, remove?

It all depends on what you like. Some people like the shaved emblem look on their cars. Some guys with 99-03 GT's take off the "GT" emblems on the fenders because they look cheesy and replace them with the tri-bar pony or something else.

Keep in mind those emblems on the fenders aren't stick on, they have a pin that goes through the actual fender, so completely removing them will leave holes.

I like mine. I like the little chrome accents since I have chrome wheels.

Re: 40th Anniversary badges, remove?

Yah I believe the fender emblems and ford oval on the trunk are all bolted to the car...the GT emblem on the trunk is the only stick on, since the v6 and other models either don't have them or have a different emblem.

Yeah I figured the GT one was bc it's the only chrome badge on the car. Prob gonna remove it. It doesn't have the oval on it but it has a 281 badge on the right side of the license plate.
