Mach 460 Volume Control Issues

For some unknown reason, the volume on my head unit is ridiculously sensitive. I can barely touch it and the volume goes all the way up, I try to turn it down and it stays up.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix this? We tried to swap out the head unit yesterday for the head unit of an 03, but it didn't fit (wiring was different).

Mine did the same exact thing too!! I finally replaced with an aftermarket iPod player because I couldn't take it. It would turn all the way up and wouldnt turn down.
