Why (2) four channel amps? Run one four for you door speakers and either a two channel or better yet a monoblock for the subs.

Misread, sorry. A good three way will sound great, but in my experience components give a better sound stage.

Re: a quick and likely simple sound system question

well yeah im looking for a loud and crystal clear sounding system im gonna go with rockford fosgate for the rear and front stage speakers so im gonna be good with that yeah like i wanted to get the 4 channel amp for the speakers and the 2 channel amp for the subs but since i am getting the 4 ch for the speakers they dont need to be component speakers?

No, just match the rms of the amp to the rms of the speakers as closely as possible.

Exactly. It isn't power that usually blows speakers it's distortion. Make sure once you got everything installed that you don't crank the gain up thinking that it's giving you more power. It isn't.

Most people blow there stuff because they are underpowering. I hate to see people blow good speakers because they have got a crappy amp, and they really believe that their good subs are junk because they couldn't handle the "power"

Re: a quick and likely simple sound system question

My question to that is...I'm a girl ok..lol..and all I know is I want a louder sound..not so loud I can't hear myself think and a little more bass but not so much that I can't breathe lol..just a small system. Would a 12inch sub...1200 watt max..work with a 800 watt mono amp? Or is that to much...I'm learning still haha so forgive anything that might sound stupid lmao

Exactly. I have never blown a sub. I turn the gain til I get max clarity then bring it down a touch. Loud sucks when it's distorted. Then great music is just noise

That's fine. Bridge the amp and don't crank the gain. Keep the sound clear and you will be fine

I had a single 12" in my Cherokee. Not too much bass, and sounded really good. I listen to Metal, so I'm not one for big bass anyway.

A good ten inch should work for you then, a little punchier and saves a little space
