My exhaust tips are crooked.

However, I rarely see mustangs with straight ones. So! Do you have aftermarket exhaust? Are they crooked?

Mine are aftermarket and are straight. Only when my hanger broke were they crooked.

When I installed mine, one side was perfect and the other was crooked. I tried everything. Eventually I forked over 80 bucks and took it to a garage and they had to heat up the pipe and bend it... It was a pypes pype bomb axle back. Now it's strait and sounds mean!!!

Being honest, I have some junkyard dual flowmasters. Haha. So I figured I'll get better exhaust once I can afford it. But I initially had no exhaust at all. Only two cats.

Re: My exhaust tips are crooked.

mine are a bit different being an IRS car, but the exhaust can off center itself and need a slight adjustment should hold up for a very long time once adjusted right.

Re: My exhaust tips are crooked.

I think some of this is due to those that get mufflers cut/welded into their stock catback and the people that weld the new muffler back in do not set the tips right by welding on the back part of the exhaust in the wrong spot (throwing it all off)

My exhaust tips are welded on crooked. That's really the only problem I have.

Re: My exhaust tips are crooked.

I had a friend who ordered a full system and his was like that also. About 5 hours later we took it to a garage and found out they sent him a defect set the hangers were off when welded and all. They sent him a complete new set up free and let him keep the other ones also.
