Alright, got the parts from crutchfield at 5:55, started removing the factory radio. Got it out. And I need help. It says something about a premium sound amplifier that came stock in some models?Mines a 89 coupe. The last picture is a pic of the inside compartment. Is there an amp in there somewhere, or does mine not have one?

Re: Aftermarket head unit installation, help.

Look under your passenger seat there should be an amp there if you have premium sound.

It said it would be under there but then it said another place or something. And no. There's not one.

No, don't. I've got an aftermarket amp. It only comes in the 93s.

One of the orange wires on the harness from critchfield says it's for the dimmer, if I don't connect this then won't my radio stay bright all the time? Also..the other orange wire is for illumination, do I have to connect this one?

Okay, got every wire hooked up from both harnesses to the cd player harness. Should I connect the harness to the cd player and the connect the battery back to connect the cd player?
