Well, it's a factory upgraded sound system available in 99-04(and others I don't know...) that includes amplifiers for the speakers, tweeters by the rear view mirrors, and upgraded speakers in the Mach 460 system, and that stuff plus 2 10" subs in the back for the Mach1000 system. Any more questions or clarification?

yea its decent, cant easily just "pop in a new head unit" due to the amps and such

yeah my 98 had a mach 460 system in it it works pretty good .

Sorry to thread jack but i got a jvc in my mustang and the front door speakers are dead but tweets and deck runs do I have to splice into more wires to get it to work?
