Yeah I'd probably cut some of the door out and then have it stick out maybe an extra inch or so.

You would have to shave it completely down to the outter skin then have like a 2" spacer I thought about it and it would rattle a lot there's a lot of loose wires and such that's why I put it on the back panel it's likes .25"? Thick plastic so it'll hold well

First I just got a hot blade and cut off chunks then I shaved it with a file then some sandpaper
