Freaking door subs (Mach 460)

My front door subs (both of them) just cut out randomly and quit hitting bass with the volume up past 40% ... anybody ever run into this? They'll "rest" for about 10 seconds and then try to kick back on, but unless I turn the volume down they kick back off.

Car audio drives me nuts, not sure if there's a relay or fuse I need to replace or if this is just the typical function of the stereo. My 04 did it too, but I had some competition kenwood 12s in the truck so it wasn't noticible.

Any suggestions or experience with this?

Wish it was man, but it is the stock stereo.

I have be scoping the local pawn shops, waiting for some poor b@st@rd to give up a nice system. I would prefer to keep my factory deck, but if it's causing the issues then I'll wanna let it go.

make sure you never put a system in your car without changing out your headunit..otherwise you do not get enough wattage to door speakers (unless your buying 2 amps) because it will burn up your speakers from under powering it
