new speakers

I always save up my change to like $300 and buy myself something nice. I need new front and back speakers. What's a good brand or size to go with for good bass and volume?

Go to sonicelectronix.com. Rockford Fosgate prime 1682 6x8s for both pairs. I have them in my car and love em. Also I've heard Polk audio, alpine, and kicker is pretty good.

Re: new speakers

I went with the "Shelby GT" speakers, which are "Kicker" 8" front door 6.5, but the cone is 8" deep speaker, fits right in the stock spot in my 07 Mustang GT. The "Shelby GT" rear speaker is a "Kicker" 6X8, long throw speaker and fits right in rear location, Ordered online at the Shelby Website. They fit and sound excellant, no complaints at all.

OK, you could be right about that. But no complaints and they fit right in perfectly. I added a 10" JL sub in the Trunk also, just one Amp running right now, debatting on hooking up the second Amp on the four inside speakers.

Adding a amp will help your mid sounds.

You just pushed me to do that. Even though it did not take much Pushing. I've always been an Audiophile, just kinda took a little step back out of the way for HP stuff.

Naw, I'm not gonna go that route this time. Just a little something, that's all. And the second Amp I have is a Soundstream "Rubicon" 5 channel Amp. The sub is on a "Memphis" 1000 watt.
