Has anyone seen one of the off brand double dins. The one I'm lookin at is suppose to have dvd Bluetooth gps and tv. Just wondering if they work good. Or any other opinions on double dins are welcome. And does anyone have an afternarket deck with a mach 1000? Thanks

Re: ebay double din

You can get double dins from crutchfield starting at around $150 depending on the options. I wouldn't want a ebay unit because I doubt they have a warranty. Crutchfield also has the adapters for the mach 1000.

Re: ebay double din

My recommendations;

Double Din, Regular Components with Adjustable colors

Clarion CX501 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Double Din, Regular Components but has full touch screen, DVD receiver
Clarion VX400 DVD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Cx501 I don't have an interest for the extra features of the higher models. All I wanted is a unit that's double din and has inputs for other devices.

Re: ebay double din

Just as another opinion, I bought Pioneer's AVH_P3300BT and it's pretty amazing. Full of features and customization plus full iPod/iPhone integration in which you use the head unit to completely control your device. Also streams live Pandora, which is wonderful when you wanna listen to weird stuff like jazz and classical, as sometimes I get in the mood for while driving long distances. Plus it auto-dims/lights so it's never too dim or too bright no matter the time of day. Plus it looks badass. Only complaint I have is that it doesn't have a USB port in the rear of the unit so I can't wire my iPod connection under my dash and into my center console or into the glove box.

looks real good. I'm just a clarion fan so that's why I suggested that...any of them i'm sure are really good units.

Ok i got my clarion vx 400 hooked up. It sounds horrible I've got all the right harnesses for the mach 1000 but the sound is off I've adjusted everything and its still not cooperating with the mach. I'm going back to the mach and wiring in a aux input.
