Finally got my boom installed! 10" Alpine Type R in a custom box powered by a JL Audio 500rms amp and wired with a badass 4gauge wiring kit. It sounds amazing and the bass response is so fast and crisp, even on heavy rock songs. Highly recommend it! Plus it still gives me a ton of trunk space which I use for my tools. Lol

Sound Advice on Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge. They're an awesome shop. Also a shout out to Mobile One Audio in Covington. They're both great. I got my amp off of the Internet, advice from both shops, and got my box, sub, wiring kit, plus install at Sound Advice.

That sucks. :/ Get some new ones! Or even better- get some JL Audio W6s. Those are sick.

Amp was roughly $160, 4gau wiring kit was $55, box was $90, sub was $170, full install and wiring with some extra work was $189.

They'll get you something.. But honestly I'd pay a few hundred more for an awesome system.
