Thats piece of the wiring harness was cut installing an aftermarket head unit. My buddy was installing it and cut it and later found out we need should not have done that because it actually plugs into new harness and not spline into wire. Well now the car wont start, bought a battery and i thought that was it but nope. Had another friend take a look at says well since it was cut the alarm light flashes. It will just click when i try to start it. So idk if the alarm sytem is makin it not turn on or what. The cars a 2001 mustang gt. Some one please help me out! I am clueless!

Did he cut all the wires at once while the car was connected to the battery?

They were all cut at same time, but battery unhooked. Just got it towed and fixed at ford dealership. Came out to be that he wires that were cut got spliced together and some were not supposed to be together. Somehow that fried starter. So after 440 bucks i finally have a running mustang again! Haha
