Post a pic so he can judge for himself...

I've just always thought a mustang without a spoiler makes it look like a family sedan...takes all the sport out of the car.

the 99-04 look better without a spoiler than the 94-98 and the fox bodies look like crap without some sort of spoiler.

I like the wingless look, mine has no wing but you have the hood scoop which kind of balances it out so i would keep the wing

I dunno I like the no spoiler look. 99-04 look great with smoked lights. 94-98 is alright, but I think its more of me not being able to find one I like enough.

Re: thinking of going spoilerless

some looks can pull it off. IMO you have to be pretty dropped, with really awesome DD rims, a insanely aggressive stance, etc.

this picture made me nut (its the dude from florida whos Bullitt was stolen and then they found it after chasing it down). Epitome of spoilerless sex:

its just the entire "feel" of the car that makes it better without the spoiler, be it as it may that its a Bullitt anyways that doesnt come with a spoiler, but any mustang can look just like that with a little work. Darker colors may also have an effect, i think on brighter cars the spoilerless might seem out of place whereas darker cars can hide their body lines against backdrops easier to look more appealing without the spoiler.

however sometimes i see the 03/04 Cobra rear shot and i think the spoiler just makes the entire car look more menacing and muscular.

IMO Kyle i think yours would look out of place without some sort of spoiler. I do however think either a Saleen or Cobra lip spoiler would look very nice.

that bullitt looks very nice without the spoiler but as said above you cant just do it to a stock car it has to be dropped etc etc to pull it off.

Re: thinking of going spoilerless

03 cobra duck tail....stock 01 GT...Steeda wing...Saleen wing...park bench...anything. A bare trunk makes the car look like a retired persons daily driver...specially when you drive it somewhere and get passed by or park next to saturns with wings...It just completely kills the sportiness of the car.

Re: thinking of going spoilerless

the only ones I like (not the stock 01 gt spoiler... it looks bad to me) is the 03 cobra and the saleen S281. The only one that would work on that green car would be a low duck tail type spoiler kind of like the 03 cobra ~but without the rear bumper to go along with it it looks funny.

Re: thinking of going spoilerless

If you want it to look cleaner do what I did, put a cobra spoiler on it. Just make sure you purchase it with the truck lid, if not then you'll be doing some body work on yours to cover up the holes from your old spoiler.

after i saw pics of said Bullitt i instantly regretted "ricing" out my GT (not to mention had i known the paintjob was going to turn out so ****ty.....), and wish i had done a more cleaner look, kept it black, thrown on some dd bullitts and a chin. probably wouldve went with the S281 still, or without spending so much on the Roush kit, maybe put more towards getting a 03/04 lip spoiler. wouldve taken that 2,500$(Crap paint) and 1,000$ (roush kit), 500$ (side scoops) and whatnot extra, and thrown on a Procharger.

Re: thinking of going spoilerless

The spoiler and the scoop on my 2002 GT are coming off mine when it gets new paint next month. Does anyone know exactly what is under the bolt on scoop? Does the six cylinder have a flat hood?
Thanks,
Jim
