Here's my setup! Hit 132 decibels in my Stang

All 2 gauge wiring
Kicker ZX 750/1 Monoblock Amp
2 Kicker Comp 12's
Sealed dual chambered box

Took me forever to get a good setup, but I love it, and love the compliments I get

Hey man how do you like your comps I've had a couple set ups in my car haveny found one worth keeping but was looking into two 12 or 15 inch kickers and was hearing some good stuff about them so any feedback about them would be much appreciated!

So... Considering changing from a single alpine type-r 12" on an alpine 500watt amp... To 2 on a hifonics Brutus 1200.1 amp... Should I?

I was in the same position you are now, until I switched to Kicker.. I have the Kicker ZX 750/1 amp w/ bass knob, and a sealed dual chambered box, with the 2 12's. I can honestly say its the best setup I've ever had in my Stang, by far! I wouldn't go with 15's, way to big for a Mustang, and not enough airspace. 12's are definitely the way to go.

The only thing I have left to contemplate is connecting my other AMP (Soundstream Rubicon) to my front/inside speakers (8). Just haven't taken the time to do it, and not 100% sure if I want to, the stock stereo "Shaker 500" is not a bad stereo and I have No complaints about it. I forgot to add above that I have a 1 FARAD CAP on it also.

Yeah, but I've always overpowered, then tuned my amp in. My amp's gains are barely over halfway, & also have a bass knob to fine tune.. Today I'm going to hook up a 200/4 Kicker ZX to my door & rear deck speakers
