Zenclosure box for 2002 mustang HELP!!!!!

I want to know what to do about this. I have a nice setup in my car I have a 2002 mustang and i put in a pioneer avh-3300 head unit. With that I have two 6x8 pioneer speakers in front and two 6x8 kickers in rear deck near back seat.

I have bought all the things I need to put subwoofers in I just haven't installed because I don't have a box yet

And I'm worried that these subs will just sound bad

I have:
kicker dx 250 watt mono amp
Two 12 kicker comps 4 ohms
Kicker 8 gauge wiring kit for amp

This will also be my first setup ever so I don't want to start off to small but not to big.

I have been trying to research more and more of this zenclosure but all I see is 350z and no mustangs like I haven't heard anyone with mustang buy one. So Im wondering if yoi can help me.

It's pretty cool its like flushed with seats facing out towards trunk not seats and it holds the 2 12s.

Please if anyone could help please

And also are 2 12s to much for a mustang?

Ok so which one did you get from that site. I ordered the one that is flushed all the way to back of trunk facing out. Looks nice

I just got it in mail damn it's built sturdy I haven't put subs in yet but I have put box in to see how much weight it is and nothing. I still can hit a gas at same speed and I went over bumps fast to see if maybe it would move no it's snug in there and I'm glad it shaped that way cuz if someone is trying to take it I promise they will have a hard time you have to maneuver it out

It's badass

So I checked out bottom of my mustang and the gas tank is more farther towards the back so I'll be ok with bolting down

Sorry I've been real busy I haven't been able to upload a pic on here of it

Are u sure because the fuel tank lies just under the wood board that hides the spare tire. Anyways, be careful! And upload pic's when you can!

Ahhh ok good. And on top would be a good idea some where that gets some good air flow, so it doesnt over heat. Thats something i learned......

Yes my sisters amp to her car, she put it between her seat and the box and over time the subs got less and less power, plus the amp was too hot to touch sometimes..... but then she had to give her system back to her EX BF. But lesson learned, keep amp somewhere cool bc they get HOT!

Wait i think they might fit, do they have a circle back? Idk just a thought but im sure if you bought that box you could do some custom work on it.

I didn't read all these replies.. but from my two cents and all my research and talking to many different reputable sound shops... Summary I have is: "You can make any size sub fit pretty much anywhere in a car, but chances of it sounding good are low." For my '02 GT I had many people saying you can fit 2 12"s, or a 15", or a single 12".. But either you'd have to create a custom box that is built into the car(not removeable and takes up entire trunk) and still probably not have correct airspace for something like 2 12"s or a single 15"... Or you can go with a single/dual 10", have proper airspace, make it sound great(mine is loud as hell), and still have half your trunk space(for a single 10"). Not saying you can't misfit a dual 12" in there and make it slam...With enough power you can kinda do whatever, but for cheaper you can have a clean system with no problems that is removable.

Guess it just depends on what you want from your system, how much money you have, and if you race the car or not(which having a removable sub enclosure is good).

edit: I stand corrected a little bit. Josh's box looks good and seems like it's big enough and still has space in the trunk. Something to consider. But I still stand by my info. :/

I am going to put amp on box so it will be easy removal and I see cole that you have a lot of cleaning supplies this wil be helpful I plan on getting this to store my fire arm or my cleaning supplies
