satellite radio

I have a 2012 base and was talking to the guy at best buy and he said that all I would need.to make the satellite radio work was the satellite recover thing that goes on your truck.....of course when I take my radio out there is nothing to plug the receiver into any ideas on what else I need to make this work?

That's what my dealer said too. I'd call up your ford dealership and ask them what to do

You need the stock ford receiver in the trunk if you want it to work with your radio like it came from the factory. I have a 12 base as well and have looked into getting one but its around 500.
