Aftermarket head unti help

Bought a JVC KD-HDR70 head unit and wire harness kit from best buy.

So I got the stock Mach 460 head unit out and wired up the new one and everything but there are two sets of cables from the stock harness but my head unit only has one spot to plug in and my lower door speakers don't work now but the top door tweeters work and the rear top speakers work but not the lower rear speakers

Yeah I know a big mouth full lol but any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you got a amp bypass kit. The other harness is most likely meant to plug in to the other side of your amp harness. I think

Re: Aftermarket head unti help

no amp bypass kit needed! i just did the exact same head unit in my car and i love it. your first mistake was best buy..... never trust anything they say, what you need to do it go to wal mart and look for a wiring harness thats made for your year mustang and make sure it says that its made for the PREMIUM sound system, i have the same mach 460 and everything works fine.. come back if you have any troubles.
