After market in-dash deck

Have a 2012 V6 and looking to have a new deck put in. I'm leaning more towards a built in gps. Did anyone have that done and how does it look? Please let me know, thanks.

Re: After market in-dash deck

In general They're awesome. if you use it. if not, then I'd suggest something thats more for music quality than for use-ibility. Like if your not gonna be watching movies much or using the GPS or something like that. Almost any touchscreen that is out there for a double din is pretty sweet in a Stang. lol

Get a dash kit (like Scosche's) and put in whatever head unit you want.

Mobile 1 tried to say like $1600 b/c of all the changes and molding of the dash, but I ended up finding a custom audio shop forth do the same work for $750 ($600 for the radio and $150 for the labor)

Thanks for all the advice. I like the usability of gps since I get lost in a phone booth. And any after marker will sound a lot better than the stock one that is already in there.

That looks good. Did you have it installed or do it yourself? And is it awkward being so low!

Thats the truth!! Also putting in a t12d4 Rockford sub had it in my Impala and the thing would quake, 4 Rockford panel high/mids running off a 1900rms hifonics amp the pioneer unit really does everything else some justice with the built in eq!!!
