Adding 12's to factory Mach 460

I know this has been asked, but a quick search did not yield results. My 04 has the Mach460 stereo and I have the opportunity to buy two 12's and an amp for a great price. I understand electronics and do quality work with them, but audio isn't my forte. Is there a simple way to write these subs in?

With the factory radio, You will need a line output converter and a amp hook up kit. Run the power wire from the bat to the + on the amp. Ground wire from frame/body to - on the amp and the 12v turn on to a switched 12 in the fuse box or behind the radio. And the line out will tap in to the rear speakers and provide you with your RCA out put for your amp in. Let me know if I was clear enough.

Your better off getting a new HU unless you really want to stick with stock... Downfalls in stick is you can't control everything in your HU (bass boost etc.) you would either have to get a remote turn on knob that mounts to your dash or get out everytime you want to adjust your bass... Other thing is you can't really power off your amp unless your amp has a remote turn on section ( mine didn't) good luck!
