Interior map lights

Hey all, I'm pretty new and was looking for some help when I came upon this site. Fell in love right away and signed up. Anyhow here's my question:

I own a 2007 V6 Mustang. I bought a set of lights for the interior map/overhead lights, a nice blue LED set. Unfortunately they don't come with instructions on how to install them and the light cover doesn't seem to want to come off. I was hoping someone knew how to get the cover off without breaking it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Interior map lights

on my 2001 I had to push and slide the cover to get it off as it has two little clips on either side. After that it was pretty straight forward. I would double check with someone on here to let them look to make sure before you pull on something and end up breaking the light cover or what not.

Re: Interior map lights

it just has clips holding it in i have had mine off a couple times but it is still hard to remove every time and it still feels like im going to break it but it hasn't broken so far.. just pull straight down on one side and the clip will come out then pull the other side
