Is there any touch screen/sound system that I could get for my 2012 that would still work with SYNC besides the one that ford offers with the mustangs?

You need an adapter for the Ford Sync to work like the PAC MS-FRD1. It will work with all touchscreen head units that have a auxiliary function on them.

Also you will need a dash kit. Scosche and Metra are the companies that make kits for the Mustang.
