I got this stereo but idk how to play videos from my phone on it.....

It plays red box movies and everything but I want to play videos I got on my phone

The stereo unless marked otherwise will only play from apple products or a properly formatted flash drive.

You will need the correct cable for your headunit.

Dammit I got android phone....but lets say I got the cable what do u do to the ipod to watch the same screen on the radio as the ipod

Its usually just a matter of navigating to the video from the screen, and making sure the iPod is set for video out of the 30pin dock connector.

What kind of phone do u have... Bc android has an app that you can download any video from youtube

Not sure if it will work for you or not but with my iPhone on my alpine I have to be in my iTunes and play a video from it so my phone has the connected to device screen then go to YouTube to play a video. If I don't play a video in iTunes first I only get sound I don't get picture.

I plug in the iPod and I can play netflix or any video I have in my phone or iPod. My AVIC940 is Android friendly.

You should just have to click the iPOD button and then in the iPOD click the airplay button then select the Head Unit. At least that is how it works for me.

I got like 6ipods that I don't even use bc I have my phone for everything, but if you use your airplay which cable do u plug inn the stereo the ipod or the aux cable? And is the air play button on the the ipod?

The airplay button is on the ipod during the play of a video on the screen itself. I have the Audio jack AND the USB iPOD interface cable plugged in.
