cd player problem

I have my own sound system I installed about 3 years ago. Well the cd player will stay lighted after I take the key out. It never use to do this and works fine when the key is in. The cd player with out key won't work but I'm sure just having the light is draining my battery

It's a jvc and It's just has It's lights on I found that if I take the front part off I think it stops the light but It's either a wire problem or cd player is dying I guess

My Old 96 Mustang did that I... I'd take key out... Get out and it would still be playing the music I had to spin the ignition a lot or disconnect battery
