2013 GT Premium SHAKER 500

For those of you who have a 13 GT Premium, how do you like your Shaker audio system? How is the sound quality? How are the subwoofers? The speakers? Anything that you want to add or would make it better? Over all, the Premium is totally worth it, but I'm just curious how you Mustang brothers are liking the Shaker 500?

I like it. The door-panels and mirrors rattle at just half volume because of the subwoofers in te door.

It's not the best I've ever had, but good enough where I don't plan to upgrade/mod the stereo.

I have a 2012 premium and i believe the shaker is still the same. I think for a stock stereo the sound quality is great. Even though the door speakers are small subs (i think), i may add a good 10" sub eventually in the trunk. I just like having extra bass coming from the back. But overall i really like it the way it is.

I have the base Shaker. I switched out the 5x7's to Morel Tempos. Sounds much better.

Re: 2013 GT Premium SHAKER 500

I have the Shaker 500 in my Stang, but my Stang is a 2007. I changed stock speakers to Shelby GT speakers all around and added a JL 10" subwwoofer in the trunk. The Shelby speakers which are "Kicker" speakers in the front are 8" in the doors and long throw 6X8 in the rear. The only issue I have had is: The Shaker 500 is a CD changer also, holding 6 CDs at a time. And I have not been able to find a Double Din CD player that holds multiple CDs, that also has the other features that the Shaker 500 has. That's why it's still in my car. There are many players out there but none I've seen that hold more than just one CD at a time. Other than that, I have not found anything wrong at all with the Shaker 500.
