Shaker aux dont work??

Ok so my aux cable when i plug it in it doesn't work! Help!

First things first: Don't Panic!

OK, now: Are you SURE the cable is plugged in correctly at both ends?

Did you already use this cable with another device so you know the cable itself is OK?

Did you correctly select the Line-In by pressing the AUX button? On some Shaker units you keep pressing AUX until it shows Line In on the display.

Was your phone/iPod/etc. playing and with the volume set about halfway up?

If all of those didn't get it working, let us know.

the cord could be broken from slamming the top down on it. that happened to me alot

The cable works perfect, that was the first thing i made sure was ok.. I called ford and they said my system needed an update. Yes i have an iphone

Look on the stereo if u have a aux level option that can make it not work if its turned all the way to the negative

Welcome to ford country McQueen! In fairness, it seems to be a Microsoft vs apple issue, but you'd thnk ford would have the weight to step in. Makes me think it's apple that is not playing fair
