How Big Can I Go With Subs?

I am getting ready to get some subwoofers in my Mustang. It is a 1997 Coupe. Can I fit double twelves in? Some dude at my local audio store told me I could only go to 10's.

is solely depends on the amount to air that your subs require. instead of getting 2 12's i would suggest getting a single 12" SoloBaric L7or a T1, something higher end.

you can fit 2 12" subs with a sealed box, but ported box are louder. or you can get 1 12" L7 with a big ported custom box, and i know you will be satisfied. i have a 2001 mustang with that L7, check my video out. its in youtube. just copy and paste the link below.
