Have any of you guys tried putting a 12" sub inside of a 1997 convertible V6 or similar year's trunk? I need some tips... I have yet to build a sub box. The woofer is a Pioneer TS-W309D4, I also have a 900 watt Jensen amp and a full wiring kit rated at 2000 watts..

I have a dual 10" box in the trunk of my 97 and height wise it barely fits standing upright. 12 inch you would likely have to put at an angle.

I got one 12 and one 10. The 12 fits perfect between my 6x9s. The 10 sits under my right 6x9. I wish I could've squeezed 2 12s in. But 12 for low bass, the. 10 for a little bit of punch. Mustangs suck for trunk space, atleast our years.

Yea, I'll probably have to go with building an angled box..

I tried angled 12 box and not even close. But mines not a very. A custom box would work but certain speakers need so much air space. JL audio speakers use to not need to much. But that was about 13 years ago.

I had to use two seperate boxes, for 12's. They fit perfect, can switch em up in different setups in the trunk. I can take measurements if I can find a tape measure.. These aren't angled either

You really shouldn't face your speakers at each other. I'd face em towards back or front. Let the bass work together.
